Job Description

🧩 About the Role

We are looking for an Workflow Automation Engineer n8n to help automate our internal workflows, connect external services (Laravel, Mailchimp, databases, etc.), and build efficient tools to support our e-commerce and media operations.

You will work closely with our IT team to design, maintain, and scale automation pipelines that simplify daily tasks, improve data flow, and support decision-making.

 

🔧 Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain n8n workflows connecting APIs and internal systems.

  • Automate data collection, report generation, and synchronization between platforms.

  • Develop and maintain custom nodes or scripts (JavaScript / Node.js).

  • Collaborate with business and marketing teams to understand automation needs.

  • Ensure security, error handling, and version control of automation projects.

🧠 Requirements

  • Experience with n8n, Node.js, or similar automation tools.

  • Minimum 5 years of web development experience, preferably with PHP and Laravel

  • Example of process using n8n

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON structures.

  • Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and webhooks.

  • Ability to work independently and write clear, maintainable workflows.

  • Fluent in English (communication within team).

🌱 Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Docker, Linux servers, or PrestaShop / Shopify APIs.

  • Knowledge of Mailchimp, Google Sheets API, or internal dashboards.

  • Japanese communication skills.

  • Interest in automation for creative / media workflows.

💰 Compensation

  • 3 to 6 millions yen

  • Annual Pay increase

  • Annual Bonus (up 150% the monthly salary)

  • Optional Quarter Bonus (based on company and teams goals)

  • Employment type: Keiyaku Shain (契約社員)
